The Eastville Inn has been an intricate part of the social fabric of Virginia's lower Eastern Shore for centuries. The original gabled structure was built in 1726 and expanded through the coarse of time.  It provided court lodging for the Historic Courthouse next door, but now has become a favorite dining spot for both visitors and residents of the area.  Join us for made-to-order meals prepared with local and fresh ingredients. Chef Brent Schmidt serves an eclectic blend of French, Japanese, Italian, and Cajun influences, all while bringing 20 years of experience into the kitchen.Open for Lunch (Tuesday - Friday; 11:00 am to 2:00 pm) and Dinner (Tuesday - Saturday starting at 5:00 pm).

Christ Episcopal Church was built in 1828, to replace the Magotha Bay Church, which had been the "Lower" Church of Hungars Parish in colonial days.  The Communion Service (flagon, chalice and paten) in Christ Church was given in 1741 by John Custis of Arlington, father-in-law of Martha Custis, whose second husband was George Washington.  The Parish Hall was added in 1974.
